Mechanical Supervisor
Job Responsibilities
Hold a college degree or above in Marine Engineering or a related field.
Possess at least three years of experience as a Chief Engineer or Second Engineer on general cargo or bulk carriers, with onshore shipping management experience being highly preferred.
Demonstrate strong English proficiency, including excellent listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
Exhibit strong planning abilities, excellent communication skills, and a high level of work responsibility.
Requirements
Responsible for overseeing vessel machinery maintenance and onshore support.
Receive, review, and approve vessel-related mechanical reports and forms; track and fulfill vessel requirements, promptly providing necessary resources.
Organize scheduled and unscheduled repairs for vessel machinery.
Manage technical documentation and certificates related to vessel machinery and seaworthiness from an onshore perspective.
Ensure the management of vessel machinery by the engineering team aligns with SOMS (Safety, Operations, Management System) requirements.
Participate in the recruitment, management, and performance evaluation of engineering department crew members, focusing on the mechanical aspect.
Hold a valid driver's license (preferably C1) and be proficient in driving; candidates with residence in Shanghai or local Shanghai residents are preferred.
