Position: Chartering Supervisor
Job Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for market research, development, and chartering activities for HANDY, SUPRAMAX, ULTRAMAX, and PANAMA-MAX vessel types.
Lead negotiations and follow-up on Time Charter (TCT), Voyage Charter, and Period Charter contracts.
Integrate resources from shipowners, cargo owners, operators, and brokers to develop and maintain relationships with both shipowners and charterers.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in chartering or equivalent brokerage experience for the specified vessel types. Familiarity with shipping market trends, keen market sense, and excellent negotiation skills are essential.
Bachelor's degree or above, with graduates from maritime colleges or shipping-related majors preferred.
Priority will be given to candidates with extensive connections to major charterers, shipowners, and brokers.
Fluent in English, with a minimum of CET-6 level proficiency in both written and spoken communication. Proficient in using office software.
Strong sense of responsibility, serious work attitude, willingness to contribute to the team, and excellent professional ethics.
